I used song vegas pro to make a documentary with my friends….it was an epic fail haha. But we did that a school for this thing called the Docu project & it was our first time we made one one vegas so it was pretty good

Uhm, i was just wondering… How do you green screen 3 videos at once? I mean, like a background and two other pictures like a girl at the front and a girl behind her… I needed two vids cause I was doing like, a vision change on the person. How do you do that, cause i cant do it..

@comedytvable I dont think you can but you can buy a program like pinnacle studio 14 it’s half the price and does greenscreen to also you can make vids in hd. I got it and its only $200. I know thats alot but it still is much cheaper

Thanks !! But i have a problem…when i import the media in sonyvegas and place them in the :time line or something the sims 2 movies doesnt showing on the background… :/ what do i have to do ?

Have you ever used CompositeLab Pro? I find that the way they execute chroma keying is horrible. Is Final Cut Pro X easy to use for chroma keying?
@MattsMacintosh Sorry for sounding like a real idiot but what exactly does that mean? What would be non-digital content?
Could I use FCP X to do stuff like put a green page on a laptop, then do a green screen effect with Motion Tracking so I could move the laptop?
@A135S4656 Yeah, I used to do the same thing in iMovie. By the way, I think FCP X is a hundred times better than Final Cut 7 if you make digital content.
Nice tutorial
I tried this in the Apple store and it was great. Great quality compared to iMovie, and I was literally able to do the thing I wanted to do for over a year. Do the green screen effect, and then resize it!
For iMovie, I had to do PiP, export, import, then do green screen. And the quality wasn’t as good as FCP X. Too bad FCP X isn’t as good as 7.

@Tomawky Refines the edge so if you have something like a shadow or hair that is not keying out right you can fix it.
What does the ‘edges’ button do?
@AlexFoeShizzle I’M ANSWERING!!! THE THING ON THE SIDE IS THE INSPECTOR!!! YOU JUST HIT THE LITTLE “I” BUTTON ON THE RIGHT AND IT WILL OPEN!!! I MOVED IN THE WATER BY KEY-FRAMING MY POSITION IN THE INSPECTOR!!! HOPE THIS HELPED OUT!!!

How do I key out other colors? like if I wanted to key out white for example.
The “Sample Colour” and “Edge” tools don’t seem to work for me.
I click either and nothing actually happens. I’d expect an eye dropper tool to appear.
Also keyframes don’t seem to work. Anybody else having problems?
