does anyone know how i can make a “color filter” in udk? so if you look through the material or so that you only see black and white? or is it possible?
@bonahe make sure its the right format, like i used PNG and it works fine. I get the same message when i try to import Jpeg images. hope this helped
Why don’t you post the textures on the google pictures? It is going to help much.
You can use Gimp, which is a free open-source photo editor. It’s pretty much just the free photoshop, and you can import textures pretty easily.
Thumbs up if that sucking/smacking drove you mad enough to want to punch something… Thanks for the tutorial but for reals, don’t suck on something, It’s distracting.
Ye, that really goes on my nerves >.<
let me ges without Photoshop it doesn’t work ? if yes witch Program could i use ?
Yeah wondering the same thing.
thanks a lot for the color level info. I ask my teacher in my class and she just always avoid the question.

Very helpful video, but this will take years for me to master Dx
I like this video, but it’s way above my head. I need to create a decal of a white line for a painted line on a road. Is their a more simplified video for this. (UDK)

has to be in pixels… the best sizes to use are usually 256×256.. 512×512.. 1024×1024… etc etc..
looks awesome
Where did you find all these shapes and whatnot? i can’t make any that look cool like yours… mine are all lame, and i have no idea how to add the fog
AHHH I GOT IT! i had it 1080 by 1080, what i should have had is 1024 by 1024 YAY
So i figured out stupid elements, and its way harder. But im still getting the import falied box. I made sure my picture was 5 in. by 5 in., is that a factor of two? or does it need to be in pixels? i dont know whats wrong…
I am using adobe photoshop elements, and i cannot for the life of me find the channles. anyone know how to change them?
