This tutorial is the second of the HYBRIDO Basic Ideas tutorials series. Right here we will explain in a clear and concise manner the fundamentals of the new HYBRIDO approach to big scale liquids simulations. ALL in HD1080 p. This video covers the generation of splash

thank you for the great tutorials.
    I wonder 2 thinhs:
    1. Do you speak spanish, because my english is not really good.
    2. I want to be really good at Real Flow 2012, but it is almost imposible to get good tutorials, about the entire software, I mean, I dont get to know about scripting, all deamonds capacities, etc, etc. Please, if you have material, videotutorials ayithing, I will apreciate it, I want to be an expert on it.
    Gracias, un abrazo
    Jaime

long time to calculate… i let it run over the night. only 100,000 particles and so long to wait -,- the finish water has to be brilliant

Here is my question. When I simulate the initial water, it simulates very fast, all 200 frames within 20 seconds total. But when I do this second part with the splash, in the exlucsive links tab, it takes about 2 minutes per frame, is this correct? Thank you, and great video. Saludos desde Los Angeles.

Sounds like you didn’t build a mesh. If you have a Mesh daemon then right click it and select ‘build mesh’. Then when you import to your chosen 3D program you will have two files – one for the particles/animation and one for the mesh. Hope this helps.

@hdlect Hey man I followed the steps from your first vid, but when I simulate and play back it doesn’t look “rendered” what I mean is it just displays a bunch of light blue and navy blue little dots bouncing around, can you tell me what I am doing wrong? Im real stumped.

    Hello,
I am doing a simulation as your tutorial follows (2012 hybrido).
But there is no way to get the splashes at all.

Splash particles count is always 0

I’ve tried to do a different scene, and there is the same problem. I’ve never managed to see any splashes in this version of realflow.

I also cannot generate GRID MESH, never.
But it can generate a standard Particle mesh in the domain.

    What am I doing wrong?

How to disable “texts” in my viewport,, they are on left side of my viewport , wrote in green color and as i understand they show what i’ve got in my scene.. ( persp , gridfluiddomain 01 particles 31200… ) ?

i cant even tell you how thank full i am.. all the time i was using simple emitter .. but with things that you showed on these tutorials i can now make much better and bigger quality simulations! Thanks! 😉

Why few times, my cube is transforming into particles which don’t look like to water, but rather a gas which is dissipating in the air ? Thanks

I have some problem with a splash. Particles fly away as like gravity is not working n them. They just fuzz all around. But the splash is linked with a gravity. What parameter changing can help me to calm them down?..

I’m having an issue once I start adding the splash and mist. It seems to start simming right away and slows my computer to a crawl. I have a fast computer and the original water sim takes a few seconds. Does the splash and mist have to be set to start once it hits the ground?
